Does the RainReserve kit work with a wooden barrel? What options exist for threading into the wood and creating a solid seal?

I purchased 5 of the common 275 gal. framed containers with the 2" ball-valave at the bottom. I am having trouble figuring out how to daisy-chain them. Specifically I'm interested in finding out what kind of reducers would make the valve fitting useable.
